OUR PRINCIPLES

All bakeries awarded the Marque agree to a set of principles set out by the organisation. These principles are intended to give clear and simple information to the customer on where their bread comes from and how it is made.

Our principles include:

  • Encouraging bakers to use local produce and suppliers where practical and clearly advertising the origin
  • Requiring that all bakers granted the marque do not use any unnecessary ingredients in their recipes
